Considering 2005 E320 CDI
I am new to this forum and am considering a 2005 E320 CDI. It has only 54K miles. My neighbor's son works at the MB dealer and can bring it home for me to play with for a day. I am new to MB and diesels. Besides the regular things to look for when inspecting a used vehicle:
- Are there any issues with the 2005 I should be concerned about?
- What is the service schedule? Any high cost services just around the corner?
- I do much of my own maintenance on my other cars (fluid/filter changes, brake pads, spark plugs). Are these harder to work on?
- Is a fair price for a very clean low mileage E320 around $20K?
- How is this car in the snow/winter with snow tires? (I live in WI).
- Is there anything that has to be added to the tank when using ultra low sulfur diesel fuel?
- How does the stereo compare to the HK system in 2008?
- Can an Ipod adapter be installed on the stereo?
Thanks in advance for your help.
