Default choices! '84 300sd or rebuilt '92 300d for wvo?

Hi everyone. I'm shopping for a diesel Mercedes for two tank waste veggie oil conversion and I was wondering what would be best. I know the older ones are great as long as you do it properly and change to hoses that can handle the bio fuel. My question is, which would you choose for this project? I'm looking at a 92 300d that cosmetically looks great and had the engine and trans. rebuilt 60k miles ago. This one sounds great and was leaning towards it but I noticed the 92-95 300sd is on the list of cars to avoid at the top of the forum. Do you think an 84 300sd with 250k miles on it would be a better candidate for WVO? Is the 84 significantly easier to work on? I'm looking for ease of conversion, ease of maintenance and reliability since it will be a daily driver. They are both the same price so which of these cars would you choose for the project as an amateur mechanic?
Thanks for any and all help!

I have an 84 300SD with 211k on it and it has been converted to WVO with a Frybrid
System. Since I don't have a good source of Veg oil I just run diesel but its good to know I can get pure veg oil at Costco and run it if need be. It has been said that the older models are more forgiving to run on WVO but the most important thing is the quality of the oil in the first place. The winter months can be especially hard to run oil. A two tank conversion is not an easy job unless you know someone who has done it before and could help you. I have been condsidering selling mine as it is a second car and my Volvo is my primary vehicle.

If you want to run VO, use a crappy VW and leave the MB's for people that care about their cars.
Those old junk MB's are not any better than most VW TDI's so might as well have an experiment with them.

I have always read that the older Mercedes worked great on WVO.
