Default Best Shop Manual & Parts?

I try to do as much work myself on my cars so what is the best shop manual for my '82 300TD? I assumed there is more than one brand out there. Are there any good parts houses on line for this car? Thanks!!

Default bump...

I am curious too...
Any one recommend a good source for factory reproductions?
I dislike Haynes / Chilton repair manuals -too general in its information - but I will say that it is better than not having anything at all.
Sources for the 300TD manual, besides Ebone, anyone?

Tom

Post manuals for mercedes (and a lot of others)

I GOT IT!
-- I was up late last night searching (a-damn-gain) for a repair manual for my 04-500 and lo and behold, there it was. I got a real human on the phone as the order by phone tech (you can do it online, also, but I like humans) and sure enough I got one for my young lady. It only cost about a hun but shoot, the benz dealership charges me that to put air in my tires so it's well worth it to me. Anyway, no more stallin....

The website is BOOKS4CARS.COM

They are based in Seattle, which explains why I got someone on the phone around ten pm my time. (Fla) I looked over the company history and popped the call and darned if it wasn't the old time feel I got when I was learnin of cars with the local shops. BS'd bout cars, babes, and even a bit of the housing boom/bust. Go figure. In the end I ordered the manual which is available on CD/DVD (no paper for this one) and they even called me back last night to make sure my PC would be friendly to the reading/decoding the disc.

If you speak with Bernard, tell'im richard from Ybor city area sent ya.

Enjoy
