My E300 has always been a good, solid car. While replacing an injector about a year ago, I broke one of the plastic breather connections (the one that goes through the valve cover, towards the rear of the engine). I have not noticed any problems as a result of this, until now. Now, under heavy acceleration, my engine oil dipstick will pop out and splatter oil on the surrounding areas. Also, my display will now sometimes, but not all the time, display "low engine oil", but I check the oil and it's full. I've also had a "Service Engine Soon" on my display at start up that I've not be able to reset. I've followed the directions in the owners manual, but it does not reset. Also, my glow plug indicator now stays on all the time, in addition to the Engine Light on the dash. I don't know if any of this is related, but any assistance on any of it would be greatly appreciated.
