Default 87 190d 2.5 Turbo - Looking for an oil cooler line/hose or a solution

My existing metal line/hose has a crack. I can either replace the line (but I cannot find a source that has one in stock other than the dealer) or I can try to fix.

Can anyone recommend where I can buy (I've tried all the major sources)? Or are there other vehicles that have the same or similar hose (M25 nut, I believe vs M22 for the 300 series)?

Any suggestions on how to repair (if I were to cut and join) would be appreciated. I do not feel comfortable putting a rubber hose with clamps unless there is some reliable way of doing so.

Thanks..
Paul

Have you tried a place that builds hydraulic hoses. With as much metric stuff as there is out there these days, I would think there is some place that could make you a hose.
