Default '82 300D Glow plug problem

Okay so when you read this next sentence I bet you'll wince in my agony. I had the "filiment" part of a plug break off inside my motor? What can I possibly do?

Just had a thought...could I possibly use a 16b nail and tap it into the pre-heat chamber and just unscrew that and dump it out? BTW almost the entire filament broke off which is about 3/4 of an inch. is there enough room in there to do that?

Just tried to crank it for a few seconds with no success. Guess this means I gotta take the fuel filter housing off and try to hammer it into the precom. chamber. EEEEEK

I could not get it to fire so I'll wait 'till tomorrow as it's dark out now. And thank you much for the responses Forced.

You may know this:
Ounce the tip is out there is a Glow Plug Reamer to ream the Carbon out of the Gglow Plug Holes or there is alternative methods to clean out the hole.

Use only Bosch or Beru Glow Plugs. Autolites are the worst; had 2 of them get swollen tips after only 3 months use and barly got them out of the Cylinder Head.

If driving the Car around does not disloge the Glow Plug tip; it might be useful to remove the Injector and look inside and see if the Tip is swollen. If so it is not coming out of the hole in the normal direction. It also allows you to squirt some PB Blaster or other type of oil on it to loosen up the carbon (be sure to crank your Engine to blow out any excess oil that got into the Cylinder with the Injector still out).

If you need to drill out the tip or have some Idea what sized punch to use to drive it out the Factory Glow Plug Reamer size is 7mm. 7mm is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of hole the Tip/Element goes through.
