I have a 1982 MB 240D Sedan....works pretty well....invested lots to bring it back to peak condition.

Recently my car began to vibrate/strain once reaching 40 MPH on roadways...a very noticeable shaking of the steering wheel and front end of car from below. Discovered the front right calipher was shot and was sticking with break not releasing completely and tire not spinning freely when put up on a jack. Have just replaced this item with new brake pads...thought this would cure the disease. It hasn't.

While ride is somewhat better, there's still something going on that continues to shake/rattle the front end of this car when reaching 40 MPH and higher on roadways. It's not something obvious or easily visible to the naked eye.

Has anybody else had this happen with their car and can anybody tell me what I need to check out to fix this problem? I am at a loss as to what is doing this. I think the right front rotor is still good but it might have gotten warped slightly with shot calipher....just don't know.

Any help on this front would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
