I'm only averaging 26 miles per gallon with my 2005 E320 cdi. This doesn't sound too good and it's probably because of my aggresive driving...what fuel economy are you guys achieving with your diesels?

Fuel is so expensive in the UK. I'm paying £1.23 per gallon of diesel where i live...that's about $2.10 USD!

 

96 e300d here, and around town, stop and go about 26mpg. On the highway, around 35-37mpg is the norm, at about 65mph. I have had the car over a year now, and keep a very close eye on fuel consumption. Don't know too much about the newer Mercedes diesels and their mileage figures
