I installed the replacement starter from Autozone yesterday and drove the car all day. The starter worked normally and I hope it stays that way for a long time. I took the starter I removed to Pepboys on warranty and asked if they could get me a Bosch remanufactured for the next time around, if necessary, and I'd pay the difference. The clerk had some difficulty finding one, either brand, and wasn't sure the order went through and told me to come back in a week and if one didn't come, he'd give me a refund for the defective starter.
