Default 2-3 shift engine revs abd then shifts

Hey Ya'll, I hope you all had a good new year. I know the answer in in here somewhere but I can't do a search and find it. I have an 83 300SD with 157,000 miles and the 2-3 shift the engine revs and then falls into gear solidly. The door locks don't work and neither does the antenna and the climate controls are slow to react. The engine is slow to shut off too. I have vacuum some of the places under the hood but on the 2 lines that drop down under the car, I can't draw down any vacuum. Where is the vacuum modulator on this transmission? Could all these be related? I sure appreciatte any help. Tom

Slow 2-3 shift is likely the K1 spring. It's an easy and cheap fix.

Door locks and slow shut off are vacuum. You're just going to have to get a vacuum pump and start at the component and work forward to find the leaks.

The antenna is electric. That's it's own problem.

The climate control is possibly the temp sensor but could be other things. What exactly do you mean "slow to react"?

A Vacuum leak can effect how your Transmission Functions as well as a restricted Transmission Filter as the filter actually has a real paper Filter Element instead of just a Screen as some American trans have.
I would fix the Vacuum Leaks first (or temp bypass them) and do a Filter and Fluid change on the Transmission.
