I have a 2003 mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor and have a problem on tickover/idle.
The car over revs most of the time an sometimes under revs almost to a stall.
Can anyone help me identify the problem?

I have a similar problem but my car under idles as I come to a complete stop, the RPM's drop to 500 then once the car has stopped goes back to normal. I get a vibration/shutter through the front end of the car like it's about to stall, but no one can give me any advice why this would be happening?

I'm having the same problem with my CLK 500 but I think it's bad gas. There was a report on the local news about a lot of bad gas in the city. I put in two bottles of injector cleaner. Hope it works otherwise it will mean a trip to the shop.
