we have a 1998 e300 TD at my shop, we dont do much diesels, so we dont have too much experience with them. the car doesnt start, the glow plug functions correctly. but there is visible bubbles in the fuel lines. is there any problem with these models any reason that there would b bubbles in the fuel line

I would check with the owner to see if they did any work on the car prior to the problem occurring. The car has two fuel filters, a large canister type, and a smaller one that has a rubber "O" ring that is not included when you buy the filter. If that "O" ring is not changed, left out, or installed incorrectly, air can enter the fuel lines and cause all kinds of starting and running issues. Good luck........

we thought we should change the filter just in case. when we removed we saw that the sealing ring was gone bad. so we replaced it n its all good
