1987 190d 2.5 Turbo - Oil Cooler Stripped Thread
My oil cooler threads are wiped out after removing the oil cooler line.
I have read the articles surrounding the repair solution for the 300 series by cutting off the thread, drilling, tapping and installing a screw fitting from the dealer (part #915013-013002).
This part has an M18 thread that would screw into the oil cooler and an M22 where the oil line would screw into.
I need a similar setup but with an M25 since the line is bigger on these cars.
Can someone recommend a solution - I have tried the McMasters and Graingers of this world but cannot find anything. My last option is to have a machinist fabricate something but I was wondering if anyone has any other thoughts out there...
Thanks,
Paul
