What i need to know is will other wheels fit my 83 mercedes 300D ? Like ford, chevy ? or is it just mercedes wheels ? I know they make custom wheels for just about anything, but i was wandering if any other wheels would fit. Thanx in advance.

 

I have not read of any American Wheels fitting Mercedes.
But, what I have read is you need to be careful of the length of the Wheel Bolts when changing wheels.
If the Wheel bolts are too long they protrude past the Hub they thread into and hit stuff.

This is common problem when folks switch from Aluminum Wheels that are thicker to the Steel ones but reuse the Wheel Bolts.
