Well this car was my grandfathers, he was the original owner and it's not in the best condition to say the least. It runs very well, though reverse and 4th gear do not work. When you put the car in R it does nothing, it's like its still in neutral. Going on the freeway won't happen because the car won't shift into 4th. Some of the Vacuum lines in the engine are cut and blocked off. Cruise will accelerate but the car will not hold speed with it on. I have no idea were to start looking with the transmission issues, any suggestions? Could the vacuum lines that are cut be the culprit?

Also If you have any pictures of the right side of the engine by the fuse box that would be great, maybe I can reconnect the vacuum lines that are cut and or missing.

The car is a beater well sorta it makes it rough without R and 4th, instrument lights don't work for some reason, odometer doesn't work but speedo does, sunroof sometimes works, no radio, no a/c, not sure if the blower motor works, fuse is out. Here's some pics of it's condition.
