Default cleaning scuff marks on door sill

My e350 has a stone interior (real light color) and I have been unable to clean the scuff marks (from shoes) on the hard plastic trim or the soft edging. Tried soap & water, carpet cleaner, vinyl cleaner to no avail. I would appreciate any surefire solution. Also, my light color mat on the front passenger side has black greasy stains (probably from a slovenly passenger) that don't come out with carpet cleaner.

dixiesothercar.
My interior is also light, Java, and for marks on the vinyl or plastic, I first try Simple Green with a soft bristle brush. If that doesn't work, then Meguiars Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner found at autopaint supply houses. As for the mat, I'm lazy, so I vacuum, spray the stain/grease with Shout or Spray and Wash and throw it in the washer...works for me.

OK;
I'll say it again;
I'll give you a tip; but it comes with a
WARNING!

Try:
Mr. Cleans-"Miracle Eraser"
I assure you; it WILL remove the black scuff marks,[sm=happybounce.gif]
black marks or heavy build up in your car

It does scratch somewhat so be careful.

This stuff WORKS! like nobodys business

Good Luck and let us know how it turned out

It's in Home Depot

Tried it. Works great. Thanks. I had to order new floor mats to match the new-looking sills.
