Default Sirius in S430 2002

just bought a 2002 Mercedes S430 and would like to install a Sirius
Satellite Radio receiver. The car has the stock Bose sound system and the
standard COMAND system for this model year. It also has the optional
trunk mounted CD changer.
I am wondering what my options are regarding the Sirius installation.
Optimally I'd like to integrate Sirius into the car's audio system (like
on the newer models) but I'm not sure if that is possible. I'd like to
avoid having to use an FM transmitter to connect the Sirius if possible.
What are my best options for a smooth and elegant integration?
Any suggestion is appreciated.

I am in the same situation, what did you end up doing? I am thinking if installing a FM transmitter unit in my ashtray in front of the shifter.
