Sirius Installation after purchase

If it's true that our newer cars are pre wired, wouldn't we just need the sat tuner and antenna assebly parts? My dealer says it
can't be added but seeing this forum makes me think tha all you woul have to do is buy the parts.

mercedes has just came up with a retrofit fit for 211 cars produced after may of 2005- they have part numbers for the wiring harnesses and everything needed.
