My wife's 1999 CLK has a dead battery and once we got it going the radio is "coded". Of course I can't find the code in any of the paperwork.

 

I purchased a used MB and went to salvage yard to get a mercedes radio. It needs the code set....can someone please help me out.

The radio serial number is: x1141147

 

bought a used MB but the radio wasn't factory so I purchased one from a salvage yard. I have the serial number and a code but it doesn't like it...now what? Is it the vin or the serial number off the Becker radio I need to get the code???
