I have troubleshot about all I can of the old mercedes factory stereo system in my 99 clk430. I have radio, tape, and cd functions, but no sound. I changed everything out and added a new sony mex-1gp deck with the proper wiring harness so that I didn't have to splice into the factory wiring. The deck operates and can change channels and go to cd and use the giga panel mp3 option and it seems to work fine, but no sound still. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
