Default need help with cd changer

I have a 6 disc cd changer and when the magazine is full the hd says no cd. Ive cleaned it unpluged it and it still says no cd. Some times when I first put the magazine in it will play a song for about 30 sec then stops. It still displays the track number but no sound. When I try to change the cd it loads and then says no cd and goes through all 6 and always says no cd.. Can some one help me pls.

Default RE: need help with cd changer

have you tried searching yet? am sure i've posted several times on this. techniques include (in prior order) removing fuse for 30 mins. removing radio and unplugging radio chassis fuse for 30 mins. removing NEG battery cable overnight ...but this will likely require resetting of memory for roof, seat, mirrors, radio...etc....and may cause error codes to light up depending on your model/year. for W210, it's caused minimal trauma and i've only had to reset radio, mirrors, windows, seat, roof. no error codes. be sure you have radio security code handy!
