Hello,

I have a C230 Kompressor year 2000 with about 176k miles on it. I left for college and didn't start it between the months of late September - early December, and when I came back to start it the battery had died. After replacing the battery with a new one, I discovered the horn, windshield wipers/windshield wash system, and all blinkers do not work. I called a local mechanic who said it is common for the windshield motor to leak transmission fluid, however it had never been an issue before just a few months back.

I'm wondering if the issue may be a faulty windshield switch lever since that lever also controls the blinkers? Possibly something inside the steering wheel went faulty as well since the horn doesn't work? Any advice or guidance on where I could find some ways to fix these issues would be greatly appreciated.

I'm considering selling this car since I won't be using it that much in college. Since I'm new to this community, what value do y'all think my Mercedes might be worth if I end up selling it?

You should not let the battery die.
there are a video on youtube explaining what happen in this situation and how to fix.
unfortunately i dont have the link but watched a couple days ago.
you need to reset an error because of a number lost in the car`s computer. you will need your chassis number to fix it.
