Hello Mercedes lovers! I am new to this forum. I have a beautiful "95" SL320 and I just had the 96,000 mile maintenance check done. The only problem that I have is my air pump is making noise. Foreign Performance that performed the check, said that the pump could lock up at any time. A new one installed is a whopping $800. Someone told me that the pump can be removed and a aftermarket pulley and different size drive belt can be installed saving me about $600. I cannot find any information on-line. Has anyone heard of this and if so, could you point me in the right direction?

go www.autohausaz.com. with core $300 comes with clutch. not that hard to do it yourself. you can do it. check your hoses and clamps. you will need to buy the check and bipass valves for the warranty.
