If gas prices keep rising, it probably would sell very well. But they are not good enough to sacrifice just about everything just for a few tanks of gas. Comfort right now is still a priority and the Smart car does not offer that for me. I rather just stop driving.

 

To me to just stop driving is to stop living.

 

It's not happenng anytime soon.
I remember when you could get a 20 ounce for around 50 cents out of a soda machine. I remember a quarter got you the daily paper, now it's 75 cents or 50 cents for small ones, but I still read. Now it's usually about $1.25, but that didn't stop me. A stamp used to be no more than a quarter now they are 37 cents a pop and I still mail letters and bills. After filling my tank less than half way for $40 euro, $3.00+ a gallon doesn't sound too bad. Infaltion is everywhere, but these gas prices are skyrocketing beyond inflation and I could go on and on, but another time. If push come to shove, I'll buy a 300SDL.
