bigger tires for Mercedes
hello everyone,
I am a new member in this website and I am looking for help
. I have a '94 Merc c 180 with a tire size 195/65R15 and I am about to change them because they are all torn up. at the beginning I was going to get the exact same size as the OEM but the dealer told me that it would be better if I got the same diameter and wider width (215/60R15) or bigger diameter and width (225/45R17). from what I studied in physics I know that the the bigger the width the more stability on the high way 
however I am confused about buying them and need to know if there are any disadvantages on the performance of the car by any means (breaks-steering-handling...etc). please I need your advices and recommendations.
