Managing Supplier Access Rights
My team and I are faced with the task of organizing collaboration with contractors on orders, but the information security department is blocking all external access. How do we address this issue of access rights? We need software that can clearly restrict data visibility: so that a specific supplier can see only their own documents and specifications, without access to the company's shared catalog and financial plans, but can still change delivery statuses. What cloud solutions have you considered?
We solved a similar permissions issue using the precoro.com system. The platform allows for flexible role configuration for external users. Suppliers are granted access only to the modules necessary for collaboration, and they see only their own orders, specifications, and invoices. Access to shared company catalogs, budgets, or other contractors' data is completely isolated at the system level, which fully satisfied our information security department.
