I have a W126 300SE for sale. it is smoke silver with burgudy leather interior. All electrics work perfectly. This car has been owned from new since 1st August 1986. It is a real shame to let it go but it is making way for a 2005 S320L CDi. This car has been loved like a baby. Washed every week and garaged every night. All I'm asking is £1200 (UK sterling). It also has a private number plate which I may sell separately "948 APL". the plate is valued at £1500.
I would accept £2500 as a package. No offers. This car cost £27,000 new back in 1986 when you could buy a 3 bedroom semi for the same amount.
The reality is it has tax and MOT until August 2007. It runs like a dream and could be used as an everyday car with no problems. In fact when I drove it with the window down earlier today I couldn't help thinking the smoothness and sound from the straight six will never be compensated for by the S320CDi I have just bought. A Diesel is still just that even if it is a mercedes!!
