1962 MERCEDES BENZ 220s HECKFLOSSE RARE MBZ 220 SE B INJECTED FINTAIL - $5500 (san mateo, CA Bay area)

1962 Mercedes Benz 220 Fintail 4 dr sedan, the famous "Heckflosse".
This is NOT the regular 220S with Dual carburetors; this is a RARE, FACTORY FUEL INJECTED 220SE B model. Even Coupes are more common than this.
173K original miles, rare 4-speed AUTOMATIC, Power Disc brakes; this SE has factory Power-Steering as well. Rblt transmission by Sal's MBZ independent in SF.
Just had it fully serviced, to include:
*Oil changed and cannister filter (Castrol 20W50 with MBZ Filter)
*Fuel filter (Mann)
*Transmission Service (Kendall fluid with fact MBZ kit)
*Radiator/ antifreeze coolant flush (MBZ factory fluid)
*New thermostat
*Chassis lubing (Redline Hi-temp grease)
*Brake System flush (Castrol DOT-4 fluid)
*Rearend drained and re-filled (RedLINE gear oil)
*Bosch plugs

All chrome present. Original vintage Blaupunkt (it was an upgrade over the Becker Europa). It has European yellow hig beams. NEW radial tires with 98% of thread, mounted on the original MBZ steel wheels with their original hubcaps and beauty rings.

NEW InterState Heavy-Duty 675CCA battery. Complete all-new exhaust. Interior has some wear to the front seats, but it is nice and clean, with beautiful door panels, original flooring, good headliner and ALL chrome.

All interior, gauges, heater/defroster, vaccum wiper delay, horn, neat color-changing spedometer and odomoter and dash lights work. Even the courtesy and dome lights work. Beautiful Ivory steering wheel!
All four doors open and close fine, and all windows roll up and down. New weatherstripping around both windshields. Hood and trunk open and close fine. Original keys work everything. Unusual rear louvers.

Original CALIFORNIA CAR, with its ORIGINAL black plates and no issues. Clear CA title. Unrestored Fintail beauty, that runs very well. $5500 . NO JOKERS!
