LF Quater Panel and Park Light NOS 67 200
I have a Left front quarter panel that is "New". And a NIB park lamp assembly for a 1967 MB200.
From 1971 to the late 70's, I owned a 1967 200 (my first car ) that had some damage to the left quarter. Well, in about 1978, I'd had a wreck and ordered and new fender and park light from the local Mercedes Dealer and it took months to arrive from Germany. Before I could fix the front quarter, I was in traffic that stopped short and I, as you, look in the rear view and all I see is "the big dog" - A Mack Truck. Turns out she was full to the brim with gravel and it mashes my first Mercedes about half way to the rear window. She was fixable, I thought. Well, about two weeks later, the differential is grinding like a blender. My "baby diesel", as the truckers named me des[pite the fact that it was a gasoline motor, in the day, was towed off as "totalled". I have moved these parts once and they have been stored in a clean, dry, warm place for 30+ years. The fender has the factory "black" primer (looks like a finish) on it.
The fender has a bend in the "tab" that runs toward the middle of the car (about 4 inches from where that panel ends). But, there are no breaks in the factory black finish. This steel can't be had today! It's tank armor!
So that's why I have these parts.
NOS LF quarter panel $400 plus shipping.
NOS NIB Park Lamp Assembly $ 250. plus shipping.
