Hey, I registered here to get some opinions of what this car should/will sell for. The friends who own this car are my landlords, who are good family friends. They're not the greatest with ebay and the likes and any other online selling methods, so they enlisted in my services.

On to the car-

1969 Mercedes 280SL
~40k Miles
White, convertible top
No rust, adult owned and driven.
To be mint, the interior could use a re-upholstering, and it needs a new top. I see this as being quite acceptable given the year and the car being completely original.

I checked out the similar models on ebay, and I see them going for around 20k at a quick glance. Just from the quick look that I took, i'm going to say that the one i'm dealing with is in better condition, and is also lower mileage than the ones available on ebay.

What should I expect to see if I throw it up on ebay? Would there be anyone on this forum that might take interest in it and pay the kind of money that we are expecting to get out of this car?
