I am the third owner having bought the car locally from a guy who bought it from a Regional Director of Mercedes Benz.
Mileage is very low for year, and these cars run forever - it drives so tightly you'd never know it was 10 years young.
280bhp 3606cc straight six 24v engine is silky smooth and will return 25mpg in mixed driving, but capable of 0-60 in 6.5 and 155mph [restricted].

The car has 12 months MOT, a clean bill of health, recently refurbished alloys, a �600 Alpine iPod system with 8 Alpine speakers. Recently had a new condensor [for the dual-zone climate control] and battery. Four tyres are less than 5000 miles in too. Number plate is not included in the sale and has been transferred.

This is a lot of car for the money - If I had the garage space I'd keep it as I think in 5 years it will be worth double. I bought my wife "a family car" so I recently got an AMG SLK32 and no longer require the E36.
