Default 1984 Euro 500 SEL with 6.9 Suspension in TEXAS

First of all, I apologize for spamming several MBZ sites in the same day, but my cancer has necessitated me moving states and this car, sadly, has outlived me. I want it to go to a good home and not the crusher.

This is an extremely rare car, it's a W126 with the same suspension as a 6.9 (W116).

83,000 original miles.

Many long wheelbase Benzes have self-leveling suspension in the rear only, but this one has a manual adjuster FOR ALL 4 CORNERS like the 6.9, which allows you to pull the **** to raise the car, and push the **** to lower the car. There's no headlamp leveling dial, just the ****. It is very uncommon, and I have only ever seen 2 other W126s with the same option.

I bought this car in SoCal back in 2005, and it has literally not moved one mile since. When I bought it, it had been parked due to some kids putting sand into the fuel tank. That sand crept into the fuel distributor. The tank had been pulled, the fuel distributor flushed, but it hasn't been put back together. Also, the ignition cylinder has been vandalized, so I can't get it unlocked to steer it anywhere. Finally, since it's been parked outside quite a bit, it's gotten very sunbaked and the interior is cracked up.

No rust or body damage anywhere. Car came from SoCal, then was indoors until just before the pandemic, where it's been sitting outside in Terrell since.

Car comes with a spare good dash, 3 spare Euro taillights, the original air cleaner housing and original 83k dash. Doors close like a bank vault. Still smells Benzy inside. Original radio. Grey market tag still on door jamb.

If this car were driven every day, you'd better be paranoid about hurting the suspension actuators, because they are not in the MB-USA parts book, you have to get them from Germany if they fail from daily use.

$3,500 ono for immediate sale. Car needs to be trailered out of Terrell, which is about an hour East of Dallas. I can help you load.
