Have a 1982 light blue 500SL hobby car. The paint is in excellent shape. Seats redone 3 years ago..updated stereo system. Both tops (soft top close to needing to be replaced). The car runs good, but sits most of the time. It has started smoking some...I am told because of the lack of use the seals have probably hardened and are letting oil leak through. The car needs someone who has more mechanical knowledge, etc than I. Great looking car. Will be happy to send photos.
