This pristine Mercedes has been maintained in a climate controlled garage for the last 12 years. It has been gone though and COMPLETELY RESTORED to new condition. Stripped down to the frame and build back up replacing every major component of the vehicle. It contains a BRAND NEW ENGINE, BRAND NEW TRANSMISION, BRAND NEW STEERING BOX, BRAND NEW CARPETS, FRESH PAINT JOB and countless other parts. Since the rebuild it has had a total of 8,000 miles put on the vehicle.

The motor is a BRAND NEW strong diesel with no hesitation and starts the first time every time. The BRAND NEW transmission shifts smoothly without any jerking or noise. The brakes work great and have lots of compression, and it drives straight as an arrow. There are no strange fumes, smells or leaks coming from this vehicle.

The power windows work flawless on all 4 doors; all lights interior and exterior function perfectly; original radio with tape deck works great, all gauges function properly and the cruise control works like a dream. The recently serviced A/C blows cold for the summer and the heat blows hot for the winter. The interior boasts a NEW DASH and NEW CARPETS both in exceptional condition. It has the original first aid kit in the rear window compartment with only 1 Band-Aid taken out, everything else is sealed. The original jack and tool kit with emergency road hazard sign is in the trunk.

The fresh paint job was completed professionally and has a high quality shine and appearance. This vehicle has never been in any type of accident and has never had any body damage what so ever. The professionally painted exterior combined with the faultless interior give this classic a clean look and feel.

With gas prices through the roof this diesel sips fuel at a rate of 34 MPG. Also, it is a perfect nominee for a bio diesel conversion. This vehicle will easily make it another 30 years on the road.

This Mercedes was imported from Germany by the original owners (my father’s friend and business partner) in the late 70’s. My father acquired it 12 years ago and had it professionally restored to brand new condition; over $25,000 invested. I purchased it from him 2 years ago and assure you that you will only pay a fraction of the price I paid.

I hate to part with this vehicle but the wife is pregnant, again, and we must find an automobile that will seat the whole family.
