Black MB Tex Driver's Seat from a 1976 300D. Will work on a 240D as well. I believe that the years that this seat will fit range from 1976 to 1985 but I am not sure. The seat is in great shape. No tears and the springs are 100%. The cushioning on the seat back is somewhat soft and the seat back vinyl is loose at the bottom on the backside of the seat. I sold my 240D before I could use this. Update for Mark. Here are the dimensions: I measured from left to right and from front to back. When I measured the seat, I had it flipped upside down. My measurements are from the center of the holes on the tracks that hold the seat to the floor.

From front to rear. Each track is the same. The center of hole to center of hole measurements are 12 & 7/8".
From left to right. Each track lined up with the other. This measurement is from one track to the other. The center of hole to center of hole measurements are right at 19". I could be off by about 1/8 of an inch on both measurements.

When I discovered that this seat did not work in the stick shift 240D chassis that I used to own, the difference was significant. It wasn't off by a 1/2 inch... rather 2 to 3 inches on the left to right measurement and also 1-2 inches from the front to back measurement.
