I have a 1974 SL with 120,000 miles. It is taking up space and I rarely drive it anymore. This is a family car that has been owned since 1976. It was originally mettalic green (light green) and was resprayed Porsche India Red. The interior is parchment and has been replaced with non MB carpet, but still looks ok. The paint was last done in the 83 and is faded and looks bad. The car has been gone through mechanically since I aquired it in 1994 with 89,000.

Some of the known repairs since 1994 (I also have all receipts) totalling over 12k. Note: Most of the work was performed by me with the help of an MB mechanic when needed:

Front subframe with new shocks engine mounts and bushings
Transmission mount and rear diff mount
Rear subframe
Driveshaft disks
Transmission seals
Valve job
MB water pump (not installed yet)
MB floor pans
MB center console
A/C Compressor (new A6), direr, exp valve,Replaced and converted to 134
Cruise Control replaced

Known issues:

Small amount of transmission oil drips(from around the pan gasket)
No engine oil drips (but some residue around valve cover)
Every once in a while (1 out of 50)the starter solenoid does not engage and I have to start it from the terminals in the engine compartment. More frequently in the summer.
Dash lights quit working (needs new rheostat)
Do not have original radio (which is why I had to replace console)
Front right fender and passenger door has bondo - no structural damage
Antennae not factory
Drivers window needs adjusting, but goes up and down ok
Flashlight in glovebox doesn't work
Gas pedal needs to have new mount welded to new floor pan (this was left off, but Ihave the part)
Some rust in the trunk passenger side
There is nothing I am trying to hide, I will be very honest about this car and I love MBs (just look at my profile). I have always aquired good models, such as the 107, 123, and 124.

The car drives straight and has very little rattle or vibration for a 30+ year old car. Starts very easy and idles great. I want to reduce my fleet and this needs to go to someone that will drive it and paint it.
