Actively seeking an early - mid 1980's 300D, perferably turbocharged. Does not have to be a concours restoration, but needs to be in sound mechanical condition an in need of limited cosmetic work. Prefer one with under 200k on the odometer. I'm in Texas, the closer you are the better. i have a 1983 300td. The head is rebuilt and it has new rings and bearings in the bottom end. The motor was running when it was pulled form the car. I don't remember the mileage. I am missing the valve cover and its going to need some injuectors. I do not have the turbo for it either. I'm in Las Vegas, NV and looking to get $450 for it. I owned a TurboDiesel Car. With the price of Diesel going up, you are better with the gas engine.
I have a 1982 MB 380 SEC in excellent condition, which is worse the money I am asking(4500USD) : look on Worcester, MA Craigslist.
Let me know if interested: I move in Sept overseas.
