OM617 Cruise actuator mounting brackerts, linkages and throttle cranks
MB never imported W123 300CD models into Australia.
In fact they never imported the OM617 952 engine in any body.
I obtained an OM617 952 (Factory Turbodiesel), overhauled it and installed it in my '84 300D a few years ago. The body of my 300D was very poor and a good respray would cost too much, so I purchased a '85 280CE with a good body and interior and have installed my Turbodiesel and transmission into the coupe body.
In my 300D, I had a vacuum actuated cruise control, cable connected to the accelerator crank and linkage. The coupe has an electric CC actuator which I wish to install on my turbodiesel.
Can any of you please provide photos of the linkages and mounting bracket needed to connect the electric CC actuator to the accelerator linkages?
If any of you are able to provide the parts for this job I would be happy to discuss this with you either in this thread or by PM.
BTW, the Coupe is Right hand drive so there will be differences between my accelerator linkages and yours, even without looking at the CC actuator.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

I also wish to activate the tachometer in the 280CE instrument panel. Is there an amplifier (whatever it is called) which goes between the pickup on the harmonic balancer and the Tachometer in the dash, to priovide the correct signals to drive the tachometer?
Is the tachometer different in the 300CD and the 280CE?
If so, does anyone have these items that I can purchase?
Thanks again,
Tony
