Default w123 brake hose hardware question

This concerns the flexible rubber hose to the front calipers. Every manufacturer has their own system of securing the end of this hose to the body of the car (not the threaded connection of the hose to the hard brake line). What's the system merc uses? On domestic cars it's pretty obvious. There's a U shaped flat spring that you pry out and the connection comes apart. It's not obvious (to me) how this works on a w123. I don't want to tear it up by forcing it apart. Also, does one need to use new hardware to do this? Thanks for your help. No videos please as my internet connection is very slow.
