Some people might know or might not know about the Smart Car. Made by DaimlerChrysler.
It's basically a mico car about two-thirds the size of a Mini that is supposedly good on gas.

The good thing about these cars is it is real easy to park in any parking places. If you can't park one of these, you have no buisness driving. Also they are fairly quick around the city (the Euro version.)

The bad: They are small. You'll be bullied even by Beetles. I've seen a few pictures of people involved in accidents in these go carts and it usually ain't pretty. Remember these things are made of basically plastic. Also, it's not that economical but it may seem economical only because you can spend about 10 Euro and fill the tank up or almost fill it up but you'll be visiting the gas station more often. The ride quality is dismal. It's jerky, harsh and I can't see how people put up with it. It's not made for long trips.

 

I was just at the San Fransico International Auto Show and saw the ZAP cars. Pretty neat looking little thing, but.... you certainly wouldn't want to get into an accident with "anything" as there wouldn't be much left.

It is certainly easy to talk about things, that you have no idea about.
Have you seen Hummer after hitting concrete wall at 40 MPH.

it is a very small car made for the city.very economical.very easy to park.automatic.it is made from iron (around) and plastic.
i have it since summer.left the mercedes at home.i love it. very very safe.it is coming to us 2007.

i have it since summer.it very very nice. i park it everywhere.very economical.33l. tank.33 $US. 20-25 days one tank.automatic.
the small version like mine 2 seats.the big 4 seats.

 

It is kinda funny here in Germany to see those little things zip around the autobahn like it's a big Mercedes.

 

I love my smart car. I got mine on May 27th, 2005. And i can honestly say that right now, there is nothing else on the market that i would want to want to drive. So if it wasn't for the smart car i probably wouldn't own a car right now. I also got in a car accident with my smart car on Dec 8th. I rear ended the guy and there was $8,000 damage. I'm fine excpet i had major whiplash but it was due to me reaching over to put a CD in. So the car is very safe. I just got my car back last week after nearly 2 months of repairs.

And another thing. People, a CD isn't worth your life! If you just have to get your favorite CD, then reach over and without laking ya eyes off the road and get it. If you can't do that and must look for it then wait, grab another CD, or if you must absolutly have to listen to that CD becuase if you don't you will go crazy, then wait for a stop light, or pull over and then get the CD.
A $15-$20 CD isn't worth thousands and thousands worth of damage. Not directed at you but it's just a trend I've been seeing lately. So if you have a friend or know someone that constantly does this with a CD or any object for that matter, let them know that it's not safe. (The peron that ran my BMW (and damaged her car and added a scratched the bumper on my car) said she was reaching for he lipstick that she dropped. Couldn't that have waited?)
