I have a 1965 190D! The only problem (and why I got it for $300) is it doesn't have an engine. I have no access to the original as it was sold on ebay by the previous owner. I was wondering if anyone knew what engine could replace this. ALSO, I am going to be converting it to gas and was told I could put a small block chevy in it. Is this a wise choice and if it is, what the heck should I put in it.My husband has a 305 from his truck that is immaculate and we are toying with the idea of putting it in the car. Please help because I am getting ready to start this project and don't want to mess this up to badly!
