'81 280SE active suspension
Hi, I am currently in the process of doing something a bit different with my newly acquired '81 280SE. I will be fitting a Lexus V8 and automatic transmission.
I don't know much at all about how the self levelling suspension works - only that there is what looks to be a pump for it that runs off the exhaust camshaft. I am wondering if anyone knows what sort of pressure this pump creates. I'm thinking about using the hydraulic fan pump on the front of the Lexus motor to run the active suspension, but need to know specs on pressure to know if this idea is viable.
Can anyone help me?
