I bought an 03 CLK320 Final Edition a couple of months ago and am really enjoying it.

As I parked the car yesterday a female voice said "Guidance not active". I was alone in the car and was obviously rather startled by the message - this lady had not uttered a word since I bought the car!

The car has no inbuilt satnav.

Any ideas? Is she likely to say anything else?

 

Mine is 2002 and has voice control. I am sure you do too. There is a small stalk on the right of the steering that activates and stops voice control.
