Default 300TD Manual Transmission

Now I realize they never made a manual for a 300 in the US (only in Europe) but is it possible to put a 4 speed from a 240D manual and somehow get all the parts needed to do this project? Or is it even more possible to get a tranny from GM or something like a TH350M or TH400M and is there somewhere that would have a bellhousing that would match up to both tranny and my diesel powerhorse?

I suggest you to get a Factory Mercedes Manual.

It has all service and maintenance instructions, step by step.

A great help, hope this will help you.
