220 /8 W115 Wheel offset
Hello there,
I have been looking into wheels for the W114/W115 vintage mercs, specifically I am wondering what the offset should be for the standard steel wheels, which I think are 6J X 14.
If I put on larger width wheels, does the the offset have to change to be correct?
ie, if I put on 7J X 16, should the offset be lessened to compensate, say from 30mm to 20mm?
Can someone enlighten me please as I would like to fit some newer alloys onto my 220.
Many thanks
