ok, im new to the whole mercedes thing. for some reason i happen to look up the 190e 2.5-16 evo II. i remeber it from GT4 and thought it was a pretty bad *** car. so i do a little research on it. find out i wouldnt be able to get one of them, but the next closest thing is the 2.3 or 2.6.

im not sure on what i should get. i'll give you a quick description of what im gonna use it for. not gonna drag or anything like that. gonna do a little drifting but mostly twisty/back road grip driving. which would you guys reccomend?

 

Make sure you are more specific when saying the 2.3. Theres a 2.3-8v engine and a 2.3-16v engine. You could set up any one of those cars including the 2.6 for drifting with enough time and money. The 2.3-16v is your best bet go with since its pretty much a track car. Those cars came with a manual or automatic transmission. But be willing to pay atleast $4k for a decent one.

 

buy a 2.6 and put a 2.3-16 engine into it. that would be the bomb
