1984 mercedes benz 380 se

What's up everybody?? I have major problem with my mercedes. I bought the mercedes about 2 months ago and I did everything that you would normally do to a use car, meaning change the fluids and stuff. Well shortly after i did that, the car started to blow white smoke out of the tail pipe. At first I thought it could be the piston rings but then I finally caught up with the smell and it was that it's running too rich in fuel. So my question is: Is anybody else going through the same thing or can anybody help me with this problem. I want to solve this problem but i dont know what to do. Please write back if any of you had the same problem. Remember this is a 1984 Mercedes Benz 380se. Fuel injection and carburator. Thanks.
