I have 1983 mercedes 500sec Not Starting, My wife had the car our last week and ran out of gas, and now the car wont start. I havent taken it to the shop yet. I dont know much about Mercedes and dont want to be "taken" for a ride by the local repair guy.

Has anyone else had this problem?

If so what is usually the fix and cost associated with it.

just put some gas on it. it will start.

Ya put 5 gallons in it and still nothing, been trying to start her for 3 or 4 days and nothing.

A friend mentioned something to me about possibly the fule system doesnt have enough pressure. Dont know like i said dont know much about Mercades
