I have a chance to purchase a 1972 280SEL 4.5. Here is what I have been told: timing chain, water pump replaced, valves adjusted 1.5 years ago, dash cracked (w/cover), ac/heat out due to brokens switches, breaks locked (calipers..this is recent), some issue with master cylinder. Straight, no rust. By all accounts runs fine. The seller is asking $1,500 but has twice told me to "make an offer." The pics are 1 year old so I have not yet seen the current condition. Would probably purchase to resell. There interior pics show no rips or tears and all remaining pics are as clean as what you see here. Front end is straight and clean.
