Default What are your go-to suppliers for life science research products?

Hi everyone, I'm putting together a list of reliable suppliers for various life science research products, and I'd love to get your input. We use a wide range of products in our lab, from antibodies and ELISA kits to cell culture media and general lab supplies. It's always helpful to hear which companies people have had good experiences with, particularly in terms of product quality, customer service, and delivery speed. So, who are your go-to suppliers and why? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

It's definitely useful to have a good list of suppliers you can rely on! I've had consistently positive experiences with gentaur. I especially appreciate their wide selection of antibodies and ELISA kits. Their customer service is pretty responsive, and I haven't had any major issues with product quality. One of my colleagues needed some specific antibodies for research into lysosome structure, and they were able to find them there when other suppliers were out of stock. Overall, I'd say they're a solid option for a variety of life science research products.

Something I've observed is that the "best" supplier can really depend on the specific product you're looking for. Some companies specialize in certain areas and have a clear advantage in terms of product quality or selection. It's rare to find a single supplier that excels in everything. So, it often makes sense to diversify and use a few different companies depending on your specific needs.
